Thomas the Tank Engine

Thomas, the central character of ''Thomas and friends'' line of toys, books, videos, movies and more is a cheeky little blue steam engine. He gets the privilege of wearing the number 1 in yellow on his blue NWR livery even though he was not the first of the 3 original engines in Reverend Awdry's stories. He proudly manages the station yard on the Sodor and also his own branch railway line. Always, tongue-in-cheek, Thomas has a penchant for getting into trouble and loves making mischief. Thomas gets company for his various adventures in the form of his engine friends- Percy, James and Gordon, Bertie the bus and his faithful coaches Annie and Clarabel. Thomas can be fussy, bossy and even boastful at times. But he is generally well- behaved, means well for everyone and proves himself as a really useful engine again and again.
